Diverse Perspectives on Water Project
In collaboration with Associate Professor Jessica Cattelino and Associate Professor Aradhna Tripati, this National Science Foundation-funded project investigates Indigenous solutions to water issues plaguing American Indian and other communities, as well as lessons learned for a planet facing unprecedented water challenges. Through disciplines as varied as sedimentary geology, sociocultural anthropology, atmospheric science, American Indian and Indigenous Studies, hydrology, archeology, policy, law, and education, the project will gather and disseminate water knowledge and best practices, with a focus on elevating Indigenous voices in STEM.
