State of Indigenous California Report

UCLA American Indian Studies Center is collaborating with the California Native Vote Project and Advancement Project California to produce a report on the state of Indigenous California, to be disseminated during Native Heritage Month in November 2019. The report describes the socioeconomic status of Native Americans living in California, across five indicators including health, education, democracy, and justice issues. The report will provide greater visibility and understanding of Native issues in California and serve as an advocacy tool.
