Experience: The Honorable Troy A. Eid, the unanimously elected chair of the Indian Law & Order Commission, was the United States Attorney for the District of Colorado from 2006 to 2009. Mr. Eid is a shareholder in the Denver office of the international law firm Greenberg Traurig LLP, where he co-chairs the American Indian Law Practice Group. He is also an adjunct professor at the University of Denver College of Law and the University of Colorado Law School, where he teaches Indian law, energy, natural resources, and environmental law. Mr. Eid chairs the Training Committee of the Navajo Nation Bar Association, which oversees the semi-annual bar examination and review course for attorneys, judges, and lay advocates practicing before Navajo courts and administrative agencies. He clerked for the Honorable Edith H. Jones, Chief Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
