Please join UCLA in reflecting on the culmination of a decade long effort to repatriate ancestral remains to the Wiyot Tribe. Representatives from the Wiyot Tribe and NAGPRA committee will join students, staff, and faculty to mark this special occasion.
Former Wiyot Tribal Chairwoman, Cheryl Seidner, will discuss the significance of the event as well as its relationship to tribal and cultural sovereignty.
