Sanjay, the director of Gather, spent 15 years working on human rights campaigns globally.
Sanjay's work in film has been supported by
Ford, Bertha, BritDoc, Fledgling, 11th Hour
Project, NoVo, and the Omidyar Network. His
work has won an assortment of honors
including a James Beard Media Award.
NEPHI CRAIG
On the White Mountain Apache Reservation in
Arizona, Nephi Craig, acclaimed chef and
founder of the Native American Culinary
Association, is attempting to establish a first-of-its-
kind indigenous café where Apache chefs
prepare Apache grown produce for Apache diners.
TRIA BLU WAKPA
Dr. Tria Blu Wakpa is an assistant professor in
the UCLA Department of World Arts and
Cultures/Dance. Blu Wakpa's research and
teaching combines community-based and Indigenous methodologies to examine the politics and practices of dance and other movement practices in educational and carceral institutions for Indigenous peoples.
