MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTOR
Welcome Back to campus!
There's been a lot of activity here at the American Indian Studies Center the last few weeks. You can keep updated on all our upcoming events by checking out our calendar. You can also receive information on the latest jobs and internships, as well as conferences and events on our website, which is updated regularly.
As we move forward in 2010-11, we encourage the exchange of ideas. Along that line, we are delighted to report we will be able to offer faculty mini-grants again this year. Click here to see the call for proposals to partner with AISC in hosting your own event. Or, if you are already hosting an event you think AISC might be interested in co-sponsoring, please fill out a funding application.
Don't miss our own Professor Shorter's upcoming book discussion at YRL, and be on the lookout for similar events at YRL through our Faculty Scholarship Series.
We thank you for your support and look forward to a great year at UCLA.
Megwetch,
Angela R. Riley
Director
