MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTORDear Friends of the UCLA American Indian Studies Center, Fall has arrived! We've been busy here at the Center commemorating Native American Heritage Month. It's been wonderful to see many of you at these events. Please scroll down for information on our remaining November activities. We also have included photos and updates regarding some recent successful events, including the American Society of Ethnohistory Conference, which was held last month in Pasadena, our Open House, as well as the second meeting of the United Nations - Indigenous Peoples' Partnership at UN Headquarters in New York. Finally, we are delighted to circulate the ad for a faculty search in American Indian Studies at UCLA, via the American Indian Studies Center. Please circulate widely.
