Friday, May 2, 2014 Bay Area artist and activist Rigo 23 works in a variety of media and often collaborates closely with native and indigenous communities around the world. For his exhibition at the Fowler, Rigo 23 created eight large panels incorporating references as diverse as the Black Panther Emory Douglas, Indian Island, and Leonard Peltier, among others.
